  • I'm mostly self-taught using Web references and tutorials. I pick up technologies quickly, and prefer to work in raw code. All of my sites are done by hand using XHTML and CSS, with some of the content managed using PHP and MySQL.

  • Over the last four years I have had the opportunity to work the circulation desk at both a large library and at small branch libraries. The circulation desk is often the first impression patrons have of the library, and it has been my task to help make their experience a positive one. Whether I'm processing and tracking library materials or answering basic reference questions, my focus is always on making information available and connecting a patron with the best information I can.

  • While studying for my degree, I spent a semester as an intern at the San Francisco Film Archive. Along with learning how to handle and repair 16mm film, I gained experience working with electronic databases, both from entering data and from searching for items to fill customer orders.
